We returned from lunch and began discussing laundry. Megan graciously played a video explaining the multi-step laundry process, and all that is required to clean a single pair of underpants. Be sure to have 2 pounds, a computer, and materials to jot down information. The step by step process is waiting for you in the laundrette.    Kevin followed by explaining how to upload our post cards on Weebly.  We could either place the text and image near each other, or drop the text within the picture to imitate a real post card.
We then learned about Memes as we are required to use them in the place of glogster.  We will be using memegenerator.net to create cultural memes. There are several examples of cultural memes on the weebly site. Kevin demonstrated how to create a meme. It was suggested that we do not create memes with our school children as the site does not offer appropriate examples.
As a quick commercial, we viewed a newspaper article about Coca-Cola and Brad Pitt.  Back to the scheduled program: After finishing our memes, we are to post our cultural meme to the padlet wall provided by Kevin. We will continue a session on how to complete a meme when the internet is working again.  It is assumed that our internet connection issues are not related to the wifi, but related to the guest network.
Here are a couple questions and answers covered in our session:
Q: How many memes are we making?
A: Just two, but you are welcome to get excited about it and add more! :)

Q: Where do we find the instructions?
A: Under resources on the Weebly site.

Q: Do you want these on our personal Weebly?
A: You can post them on your Weebly, but it is not required. The only requirement is for you to post on padlet.

Today, assignments 13 and 14 are due. We are to add our post card and 2 poem forms on our Weebly page.
We moved on to My Histro, where Sarah demonstrated the operation of the site.  We were told to create our story first and then add the events thereafter.

Class dismissed!
